Introducing My Satellite

A Sonic Odyssey
in Psychedelic Indie Rock

Emerging from the vibrant streets of Los Angeles, My Satellite is a dynamic musical force that blends the ethereal textures of psychedelia with the authentic heart of indie rock. Established in 2009 by singer-songwriter Bryan Stage, the band's journey ignited with a spark that has since evolved into a brilliant constellation of sonic experiences.

The spark came to life in 2010 with Stage's solo release, "Telescopes," offering a preview of the captivating melodies and thought-provoking lyrics that lay ahead. In 2011, the EP "Depths" marked a pivotal moment, firmly establishing My Satellite within the indie scene.

Expanding their lineup, the band welcomed the talents of Andy Marshall on bass, Sammi Doll on keys, Justin Paul on drums, and Ryan Ward on guitar. Their collective synergy elevated the band's sound, culminating in the single "Mirrors" resonating through Los Angeles' iconic KROQ radio waves. This newfound recognition led them back to the studio for their 2014 full-length creation, "Lift." A harmonious blend of celestial melodies and modern pop sensibilities, the album captivated listeners with infectious rhythms and compelling storytelling.

Following member changes, Stage and Marshall recalibrated their focus, exploring new sonic landscapes and purposes. Drawing from their personal transformations, they embarked on an introspective journey that shaped their forthcoming work.

Recorded at Drooping Rug Studios in Los Angeles, "Person" is a psychedelic concept album chronicling the vivid arc of a relationship. Crafted to immerse audiences, My Satellite poured their souls into this project, creating an auditory voyage that encompasses the full spectrum of human emotions. The album weaves together joy, sensitivity, heartache, and connection, inviting listeners to embark on a voyage of self-discovery. "We were singularly focused on this album," Stage shares. "We set out to craft an experience—an auditory odyssey designed to evoke emotions, memories, and reflections." The result is a harmonious symphony that is both vibrant and relatable, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in its layers and emerge transformed.

With unwavering commitment, My Satellite continues to push the boundaries of sonic exploration, inviting all to join them on a journey through sound and sentiment. As they create music that resonates deeply, My Satellite remains a radiant star in the constellation of modern indie rock, leaving a lasting mark on the musical landscape.
